Commonly
Asked Questions |
These
questions often arise before and during the repair process.
We are glad to answer any questions that our customers may
have about our services.
|
|
|
|
How
long will it take to repair my car? |
|
-
Each repair differs. Once the damages are assessed, your appraiser
should be able to estimate the approximate repair time based
on the visible damage to the vehicle. Hidden damage may result
in repairs exceeding the days originally estimated.
|
|
What
are the "hidden damage" costs that may be added
to the estimate? |
|
- Once the
"tear down" process of removing the damaged parts
is completed, hidden damage may be noted. The shop will then
contact the insurance company for approval on these additional
damages. |
 |
| Who
is responsible to pay these extra costs? |
|
-
The insurance company involved in your claim will be contacted
by our shop for approval of additional accident-related repairs.
If the customer has authorized repairs on a customer-pay basis,
we will contact the customer for approval.
|
|
| Can
I visit my car while the work is in progress? |
|
-
We allow all customers to visit their vehicle during the repair
progress. Due to insurance regulations, all customers must be
accompanied by a staff member.
|
|
| Why
some of the parts that need replacing are listed as "quality
replacement" or "remanufactured" on the estimates
when the car came with all the original equipment parts?
|
|
| -
Replacement parts are quoted based upon guidelines supplied
to us by insurance companies. Review your insurance policy or
contact your agent to inquire about specific procedures on parts
replacement |
|
| How
do you guarantee paint job, one of the most delicate steps in
repairing a car? |
|
-
With proper prep work prior to painting, adhesion should not
be a problem. DuPont warranties their paint against product
failure for 3-5 years, depending on the DuPont paint system
used.
|
|
| How
do you guarantee satisfaction of your customers? |
|
| -
Our workmanship is guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle.
We encourage you to address any concerns that you may have with
our staff. If necessary, we will contact the insurance company
for a re-inspection of damages that may not have been addressed
during the repair process. |
