First
Night Columbia |
In
addition to serving thousands of customers in the Mid-West,
Perry Legend Collision is actively involved in the community
by sponsoring various events in Columbia, Missouri. We sponsor
the First Night Columbia annual events, alcohol-free, community
celebrations of the New Year in downtown Columbia. We feel that
such events help promote safe celebration of holidays and decrease
chances of young people driving while intoxicated. We want to
promote safe lifestyle for Columbia and Mid-Missouri.

On
September 4th, 2002 we sponsored a Society of Automotive Engineers'
(SAE's) "Drive-a-thon" at the University of Missouri
School of Engineering. Each year a team of the University's
mechanical engineering students build a race car from scratch
to compete against other colleges in style and performance characteristics.
Our sponsorship helped students finance their efforts. Hopefully,
this competition will help students be even better engineers.

United Way |
In
2002 alone, Perry/Legend Collision Repair donated $20,000 to
the Columbia School System and $10,000 to Columbia Police Department,
Fire Department, Library, and other city needs.
We
served as Directors on: Columbia
Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Foundation Fighting Business.
Our
officers have chaired: The Children's Miracle Network, March
of Dimes, Missouri Tigers Score Against Hunger Campaign, Columbia
College Corporate Gifts Campaign. |
