In
our first three years of business, from 1986 until 1989, we
tried many paint companies. In 1989 we made a decision and long-term
commitment to Dupont. We would paint exclusively with Dupont.
The company offers the largest variety of products on the market
and is the most advanced with excellent warranty service. In
1990 Dupont started their "Assurance of Quality" program
- we were among the first 200 body shops in the United States
to join, and we continue the shared benefits of the program
today.

| The
program includes Dupont finish guarantee for four years. If
paint deteriorates, inflates, changes color, or degenerates
after the paint process, providing the problem is not related
to workmanship, Dupont will refinish a vehicle free of charge
anywhere in the United States. As for the workmanship side of
the repair warranty, Perry Legend Collision guarantees its work
for as long as our customers own their repaired vehicle. We
have had this policy since the day we opened in 1986, and have
never varied. We believe our customers deserve that kind of
commitment. |

Painting

In
preparation for painting, we use a 9 bay area to dry sand. We
have two downdraft, Sunkist stainless steel spray booths with
two Garmat cure chambers. We use 30-day cure in a 10-minute
cure cycle. We also have an agent room where we do painting
of inner parts separately, before they are put on a vehicle
to avoid chances of over-spray. The paint process is divided
between specialists who are responsible for each step. Two people
prepare cars for paint jobs. One technician works on baking
chambers to dry force the paint.
